A Recent Removal in Canvey Island

Recently, we had the pleasure of moving an elderly gentleman from his home in town to an assisted living facility in a more rural area. When he rang inquiring about our services, he requested that we do the packing for him as he struggled to stand for long periods of time and had difficulty with back pain. Of course, we were happy to comply and offered him our packing services, storage services and furniture disassemble services, too! He was delighted and surprised at the number of services we offered and the removal date was booked.

We arrived, as per the booking, at 10am on Saturday morning to find the gentleman already had the kettle on when we arrived. He invited us all to sit down and have a cup of tea before beginning work because he wanted to run through the list of items for storage and the list of what to pack. It was a timely procedure but it was helpful for the team to know what was required.
Soon enough packing had begun and the team of five Sure Removals workers were busy throughout the house packing items and disassembling furniture. The van was loaded a few hours later and we all hit the road. The gentlemen had arranged a lift with a family member to his new property and so we all drove in tandem the fifteen-minute drive to the assisted living property.

When we arrived, we efficiently unpacked all of the boxes and reassembled the furniture in the house as per the gentleman’s instructions. After everything was unloaded, we checked that he didn’t require anything else and he replied his son was going to help him unpack and set-up his home properly. He thanked us for our timely, sensitive and professional customer service and we were on our way. We wish him the very best of luck in his new property and hope that it soon becomes home to him.
